Futura leather furniture with rubber webbing construction

chris2009_2009August 2, 2009

Has anyone bought leather furniture by Futura? Looking at a sofa which is described as semi-aniline with split sides and outbacks. At $1000, I understand that this is not a top of the line sofa; however, will it hold up for two adults? The tag says that rubber webbing is used in the construction. What is this and will it hold up well? Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

First, I dont think they are giving you a accurate description of the leather. Spit hides are the weakest kind of leather and Im sure your not getting top grain semi-aniline leather anywhere on this sofa. So the issue with the rubber webbing is a secondary problem.
