Crumbling garage floor
Our garage floor is crumbling where the cars are parked. It's obvious that previous owner(s) had used epoxy at one point but never maintained the floor, and that years of road salt has done a lot of damage. The outside areas are still intact with gray epoxy paint.
Without spending a fortune to repair, is it possible to vacuum the area removing as much loose material/dust as possible and then apply a self-leveling concrete to the area?
After that would we be able to use an epoxy paint to protect it?
It looks like someone at one point used a trowel with some type of patching material and that has actually held up.
Thanks for your help!
