Is it beneficial and safe to use Orange Oil Furniture Polish on lacquered surfaces for proper maintenance?

No....I have had it soften the finish....and in other instances cloud the finish.
I don't use orange oil at all for anything.

I use it on my dinningromm table. It's polyurethane over mahogany. Looks very shiny and smells nice! No problems with it. I also put it on my mahogany desk, which has no finish over the raw wood.
