Grouting tiles, can I use caulk instead of grout?

anny-2009April 27, 2010

We just installed back splash in our kitchen. The gap between tiles is very narrow (less than 1/16). Can we use Polyblend color matched caulk to fill the gap instead of grout?

You will find it nearly impossible to drive the caulk into the joints uniformly enough to look good.
