GDO: Programming Remotes

cciaffoneMarch 12, 2009

Just installed a new sears/chamberlain gdo and all works

well. Except I hoped that the remotes from the 10 yo

old unit would work with the new unit. No such luck. I

have tried programming the new unit to accept the

old remotes with no success. Is there a secret? Or

maybe it can't be done??

It can't be done. The radio frequency has been changed.
