Sears GDO 139.53628srt - sensor voltage

richard1915March 23, 2007

The garage door safety sensors do not light up. What voltage is supposed to go to the sensors from the opener terminal screws?

This is a recent problem.

Check your photo-eyes that they are aligned correctly until the lights come on. They could have been bumped into (pets, dogs, trash cans, etc.) Usually the photo-eyes have about 12V current.
