adhesive problem

I hope someone here can help me. I installed Armstrong laminate flooring in my new home. It's fine, but I had to put in several transitions and T mouldings. I glued them down with Liquid Nails construction adhesive.

The adhesive is drying out and the transitions are coming up. The floor is on a slab-on-grade with hydronic radiant heat. I suspect the heat has caused the LN to dry out.

Armstrong recommends construction adhesive for this application; in fact, specifically told me LN. LN does *not* recommend any of their products for flooring purposes.

Any ideas which adhesive would work without drying out?

Depending on what kind of plastic the pieces are made from it can be difficult to get any glue to stick reliably long term.

There is a small amount of movement every time you walk on (or even near) the pieces as the floor gives under your weight.

Mastic for anchoring rubber base trim might work.

Perhaps what you might want to try is polyurethane construction adhesive; flexible, aggressive bond.
