Garage door won't stop when opening

Where is the sensor that stops the garage door when opening? It travels to far and jams against a bolt.

There isn't a sensor for that. What you need to do is locate the 'up limit' control which is on the side of the motor unit. Turn it 2 complete turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. This will stop the opener before the trolley reaches that bolt.
