contemporary fireplace

We are looking for one of those modern fireplaces where the fire is in a horizontal line and is either surrounded by small stones or glass. I've seen several brands on the internet, but I'm having a hard time figuring out pricing because I do not know what to call this kind of fireplace. Does anybody have any ideas on how to do this cost effectively? Thanks!!

One supplier has shown us a fireplace from Heat N Glo and another from Montigo. I was looking at the cosmo Heat N Glo that has a frame that slightly juts out from the wall, but the glass is extremely clear and beautiful. Any suggestions??
