circulating heat from my Breckwell Big E

gitserDecember 27, 2008

We just bought a Big E for our home. We have a three story Victorian, that the dealer told us we should have no problem heating with the Big E. We have an oil burner with forced hot air that we are replacing with the pellet stove. The Big E is in the basement, with some ductwork running into the oilburner, feeding the hot air from the pellet stove into the oil furnace. We are trying to use the blower on top of the oil burner to blow the air from the pellet stove into the existing duct work into the house. This isn't working as well as the dealer would have led us to believe. Any suggestions on other ways to circulate the hot air to our upper two floors??
