caulk for fireplace

Is there a particular type of caulk to use for fireplaces? I need to caulk the joint between the hearth tiles and the fireplace surround tiles.

I assume there is some fire and heat resistant masonry caulk out there?

Hi Craig

I had the same problem in my firebox. I found a product called Rutland Fireplace Mortar in a hardware store. It cost me $3.75 for a caulking tube type package. I applied it two years (and four cords of wood!) ago, and it's still holding up. I believe it comes in colors (I used "BUFF")
