Can I use elec logs with a gel fuel fireplace?

I have a gel fuel fireplace that I like but would like something that gives off some heat. Do you think I could use eletric logs in this fireplace?

I am originally from South Philly.

A 1500 watt electric heater probably puts out 150 degree air temperature. I don't know the wattage of the electric logs that you're looking at. I also don't know what a gel fireplace is made from, but I would hope it could handle this kind of temperature.

Do you have the manual for the gel fireplace?

Best to you.
