How/Where to read the temperature of fireplace insert
We are soon getting our Lennox Montecito circulating style wood burning zero clearance fireplace installed. I have heard the temperature should be monitored,Where?
The air temp behind the fascia on top of the stove thru the holes for the circulating heat?
Or, do I need a laser temp gun to aim at or near the base of the chimney flue to get the skin temp of the insulated flue. The store has not been to helpful I am sorry to say. We are also installing the gravity vents with blowers above the fireplace and these ducts are also insulated, so do I measure the air coming from these vent registers?
