putting legs on a swivel/glider recliner

My new Norwalk recliner was just delivered. Because I had ordered a recliner and a swivel/glider recliner was delivered, my local store has taken it back. Their solution will be to screw legs onto the existing chair. Is this solution structurally sound? Is there a way to find out if Norwalk's stationary recliner chairs are made with legs that screw on, or if they are part of the frame?

Essentially the swivel/glider is a separable mechanism from the recliner mechanism. Depending on the style, its actually its not that difficult to switch out the mechanisms. But they most likely will remove the swivel/glider portion and install legs on the bottom of the arms, and this is the normal place for the legs on a recliner.
