Honed or polished marble tile?

Bridget HelmFebruary 4, 2013

I'm wanting white 12x24" marble tiles for bathroom floors and shower. They are Turkish Cararra (bright white with gray veining). Should I go with honed or polished? Honed, right?

Honed is preferable, IMHO. Polished will more readily show haze, swirls, dirt, etc.
