Cost for 6' wide rift and quartered oak

elizawhyzaFebruary 20, 2012

We have a quote of $13.45 for 6" wide rift and quartered oak, nailed and glued, sanded and finished using 3 Coats of commercial water-based finish. Does this sound reasonable? We live in north central Jersey, so our costs a are usually higher than some other areas, unfortunately. Any input would be appreciated. It is for 266 sq feet, but the total job is for 1500 sq feet, but the remaining sq. feet will be narrower boards, at about $10/sq ft.

Sounds about right for here, which would mean a bit low for your area.

I live on long island, and to me your price sounds very good. Do you know if they service Eastern Long Island too?
