Coffee Table With Built In Trays - Your Thoughts?

rapunzllFebruary 18, 2009

I'm looking at two very similar coffee tables. One has the appearance of a tray top, but it is actually not a removable tray, and the other has two removable trays. I can see advantages to both.

Does anyone have a coffee table with a removable tray or trays? How do you like it? I guess my concern is that something might spill down between the opening and the tray without me knowing (small spills) and damage the wood underneath. I wonder how much I would actually use the trays anyway.

Thanks for any input you guys might have!
