ballard slipcover sofa vs pottery barn
I'm in the market for a slipcover sofa and wonder how the quality of ballard designs compares with pottery barn. Pottery Barn is more expensive and I don't mind paying more if it will last much longer. But now I'm skeptical after reading reviews of the pottery barn slipcovers that don't hold up well.
The Ballard slipcovers are a great price and so is the sofa but how is quality.
I have a 3 year old and think slipcover idea is great and fun to change the look occasionaly with different covers. I want a sofa to last a while (5-7 years or so at least would be nice) and I dont want to worry every time my son touches it with dirty hands.
I also don't like the "sloppy" loose slipcover look. I like it a little tighter...which ballard says has velcro straps to handle that problem. Pottery barn looks tight enough in store but then again no one probably sits in it often.
I would appreciate anyones opinion of either.
