Help! Getting wood floors - can't find a 15 inch oak return

myrtle_59January 16, 2011

We are replacing carpet with red oak floors. We have old metal returns in the baseboard which are 15 by 8 inches. I can't find wooden returns of any kind at Lowes etc and can't find this size online. I took one off to see if 14 inch would work but it will not cover the hole in the wall board.

Do you have a source or an idea? I have wooden diffusers and they look nice with the floors. The man is putting down the floors and new baseboards in a week and I need to come up with these asap. Thanks!

Ridgefield Industries will make you one. Call 815-356-9049 with the species and size you need. They will prefinish them if you wish.
