stained leather

mariannetteJanuary 16, 2014

Any hope for removing or lightening body oil & sweat stains from the headrest or arms of a light tan, quality leather sofa? Can those areas be removed & replaced with fabric within a reasonable cost? Prefer not to try to hide with throws, etc.
This photo is not the item in question, but my sofa's headrest is similar, as are the stains

Using a good fluorochemical leather protector will help to make problems like this easier to clean on any leather as it will inhibit the absorption of any types of oils and dirt.
