We are considering purchasing the Heat & Glo North Star woodburning fireplace and would appreciate feedback from anybody who has one. We have a 3500 sq ft house and would like to supplement and/or eliminate our dependence on oil heat.

wood burning fireplaces are a very poor way to make heat.
