Philips TV 60p8342 problem

rudder8578December 13, 2006

I just received my television back from the shop, 48 days and $700.00 dollars later and the convergence is way off, so I called the shop back and they gave me a code to go into a different convergence screen, I was supposed to get a number of boxes to adjust the convergence, but all I have showing are two vertical lines on each side of the television, they canÂt tell me what the problem is, if anyone could help with this problem, that would be great.

Thank you

What is the age and type of this TV ?
$700 is, to me, a lot of money.. No wonder people pitch rather than fix..

IMO, the shop should send a man out to fix, if possible - it may or may not be their responsibility..
