Very, very user friendly DVD player

dexx215November 26, 2006

I want my own DVD player, because the one we have right now is so confusing for us (we're gadget illiterate). We can never remember how to play a DVD without taking 15-20 minutes. Now I want my own so I don't have to share with my dh and get a super easy one that takes not much tech know how. Please help.

Super easy? Get one of those all-in-one units with a DVD and a screen on it (some are small enough to be portable). I think a lot of what makes a DVD player complicated to use on a basic level is how it is connected to your TV (and cable box and VCR and home-theater system). Those connections are beyond the control of any DVD-player manufacturer. Buying them together in one box, though, minimizes the variables.
