Copying a program on to a Cd

bostonterrier00August 8, 2006

Hello All,

I have a program on my computer that I want to send through e-mail. It won't send because it is to big of a file, it's just a Windows Media file. I was wodering if anyone knew how to copy it on to a blank CD. My computer doesn't have a floppy drive. I am not very computer savvy and could use some help.

Thanks!!

If it's Windows XP, try this. Right click on the file you want to copy to CD. Point to 'Send To' on the Short Cut Menu, and choose the CD-RW Drive (E). The file should then be copied to the CD.

First you need a CD writing drive. Basic drives only read.

If you already have a writing drive, then the drive (or the computer if it came pre-installed) should have come with a software package that you use for creating CDs.
