Ductless split AC systems

remodel_nightmareMarch 25, 2004

I am doing a gut renovation of an apartment in NYC and after much research believe that a ductless split system is the best alternative.

Does anyone have advice on these types of systems?

Thank you in advance.

I had an LG system like that installed, with two 12,000 btu internal units connected to one 24,000 btu compressor outside. Works fine, uses less power than a central system, and we did not have to tear up the house to install ductwork. They were done in one day.
