wet outlet power bar

timer320July 29, 2007

Is an outlet power bar that has been wet dangerous to use even if it has been dried? Water might have spilled over it - can it be damaged like that and increase risks of electrical shocks?

Thanks in advance.

I'd toss it. The chance of water causing corrosion and maybe shorting something out just aren't worth it.
