textured ceiling

ICanDoItSeptember 26, 2002

I am painting my kitchen a gorgeous faux finish in sunset colors and having trouble cutting out the ceiling area because of the texture. It's the original texturing from 1960 and very sharp, can't get a nice straight line.

What am I doing wrong?

Help!

Thanks,

You howl like an organ; and our hearts of misery,
Rooms of eternal mourning where quiver ancient rattles,
Answer the echoes of your from the depths I've come to Thee.

I figured this out. I found THIN 1 inch paintbrushes... they don't touch the textured ceiling at all and allow me to make a freehand perfect edge.

Thanks for your help!
