Help picking out home audio.

rph1234May 27, 2013

I am currently in the process of building a house and I would like to add audio/surround sound to a few rooms. The rooms I would like to add it to are great room, backporch, bonus room above garage, and maybe kitchen also. I have no idea what I need. Can I get 1 system to do all this or will I need separate systems for each room? Open for any and all suggestions. Thanks.

You are probably looking for a 6 (or more) zone stereo audio system. With one system, you'd be able to control the sound level and the sound source separately in each zone/room.
I recommend checking with audio system dealers/installers in your area to see what options are available and what type of in-wall cableing is needed for your layout.
