Try to eat oatmeal with fruits (like blueberries or strawberries) added as toppings for breakfast. It'll keep you full for a longer time while providing you with the right nutrients. Eat whole wheat bread, brown rice or quinoa in place of white rice, white bread and pasta. Try to get lots of vegetables into your diet. I find it also helps to drink a glass of water every time you're hungry. That way you eat less afterwards. Eat salads topped with olive oil and seeds (sunflower, ground flax and pumpkin) - they add a good taste your salad and will help you avoid salad dressings that will make you fat. Everytime you want to eat something sweet, eat a slice of fruit. Will help you cut down on bad sugars a lot. Also drink lots of green / herbal tea.
