laserdisc player

Hello there. I have a Pioneer Elite DVL-91 DVD LD Player, which I recently sold on Ebay. It played both laserdiscs and DVD's when it left here. The buyer e-mailed when he received it, and said it played laserdiscs, but not DVD's. I told him I didn't know what to do but send it back and I would refund his money. Am I going to find anyone to work on it, or should I just sell it again saying it plays only laserdiscs? Any help would be appreciated.

I would test it before you do anything. If it now plays dvds just fine perhaps the buyer didn't understand how to operate the unit.

Read the last few sentences of the Look and feel section. Perhaps this is his problem.
