Janome 350e download help

crofire2May 16, 2009

Hello everyone, I just got my very first embroidery machine. I am brand new to sewing and embroidery. I am trying to find free designs online that I can download onto my flash drive to use on my Janome 350e. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find compatable designs and if the designs have to be in .jpeg or not? Also my husband is a firefighter and I am trying to find a bunch of free fire fighter designs. Any assistance in this would be helpful!!!

Also I am trying to figure everything out about this machine. If you have any advice please feel free to let me know.

Thanks everyone.

I'm answering this rather late. I'm away so I don't have my main computer with me with all my embroidery sites. You need to use JEF files for your flash drive. There are several free conversion programs but you have to start with files that have already been "digitized" for embroidery machines. Do a search for embroidery files and you will find a fair number of free and low cost designs. If you are given the option - download the JEF files.
