I am asking if anyone knows of a spray coating this is more protective than Scotchguard.....I have made some embroidery patches for a garden tote bag...for tools, etc...while working in the garden....Because it might be exposed to dirt...and maybe wet....I want to put a protective on my patches.....And advice I would appreciate....I am makin this for a friend for her birthday...It is really going to be great.....Thanks for any help or advice....Judy

I just bought some iron vinyl....is seems to be ok...but I think a spray item would be better because this vinyl puckers a bit over the embroidery....maybe this would be the best though....any thoughts?...Judy

They removed the "Good" Scotchgard from the market a few years back because the powers that be decided it was no longer enviornmentally safe fo us to use. The new one is probably 4-5 years old by now & does not work as good. There is probably no spray out any better than it is though.
