hiding cables over the fireplace

ness1960February 7, 2010

how do i hide cables behind the wood fireplace after hanging a plasma/flat screen tv. I have read that you can drill a hole in the wall by the bracket putting the wires in a pvc pipe. Is this the best way to hide the wires and prevent a fire? Do we need to be careful with the firebox?
