I am looking for a pattern on the net for a Button Doll..the type that is made with buttons threaded onto string and a wooden bead used for the head. Hope somebody can help.

I found another variation on a button doll at this site. go to the project archives on page 3- the no sew angel. I don't care for the head they used, but other than that it has a lot of potential.

hi, my friend and i really enjoy making button dolls, so much so that we have hand written a book and put it on a CD on making button doll Angels...there are 15 different Angel designes to make, from county styles to cats, from bedtime ones to even a punk! if you would like to take a look at it ..it is currently available on E Bay and called 'Angels in Abundance'... its a great way of recycling scraps and buttons to make something precious and unique. happy sewing n bright blessings..linda * * *
