life size doll

lizSeptember 3, 2001

has anyone ever made a life size doll? i would like to make one as a mascott for the place i work. i am thinking of the kind that is covered in batting and pantyhose. i have seen smaller ones done and coathanger wire is used as the base or skelleton. what should i use for a 5' doll? i was thinking of chicken wire. any suggestions? thanks.

Use pvc pipe for the frame,I saw this on one of the Discovery shows (home improvement type show) but cannot remember which one.It was an older couple who make life size dolls.
