Bell Jar?????

boystownDecember 29, 2007

What do you put under your bell jar after the holidays? This is the first year that I have had one and would like to leave it out all year but this time of year, I cannot find any inspiration for using the bell jar. Please offer some suggestions, thanks.

Here's one. Scroll a little over halfway down the page at the January 10th entry.

As far as themes, some people keep out snowmen and snowglobes as a theme or start decorating for Valentine's Day. I still have my Christmas trees up because I like the look of it. I'm thinking about getting a few of these downed branches from the ice storm and painting them silver or gold. I may make a few birds or something to hang on them.

Then for Spring I use a bird's nest and such until Easter, for the summer I use my found sea shells and small drift wood pieces, et...
I have one vintage Bell Jar and several newer versions so where ever I place them there is always something interesting to look at.
Best of luck,
