RECIPE: Food processor apple cake/kuchen recipe

lccntryroxJanuary 19, 2014

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me find this recipe, it was given to me about 30 years ago. The entire cake was made in stages in a food processor. First, you made crumbs with about 1 tblsp butter, flour, sugar and cinnamon. Then you sliced 3-4 apples and mixed them together in a bowl with the crumbs. Then you made a vanilla cake in the food processor, about 3 tblsp butter or margarine, flour, vanilla, egg (some leavening and I forgot the other few ingredients). You then poured the batter into an 8 or 9 inch square pan, and arranged the apple mixture on top and baked it. It was definitely an apple cake, but I am not sure of the recipe title (cake or kuchen).

Sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks so much for your help,
