Question about painting glass

janetwilsonNovember 7, 2005

I have a wrought iron light fixture with white frosted glass sconces. Does anyone know of a paint product I can use to change the color of the frosted glass from white to either cream or light gold? I'm hoping I don't have to replace the glass and can just apply something to the existing sconces.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Have you thought of using the stain glass paints? You could
change them up again later if you wanted to because the
product is not permanent. Here is a website that sells it.
Or you could use a permanent paint like Delta's Permenamel.

Here is a link that might be useful: Gallery Glass

I have the exact same question and I was wondering if you found a product to change the color of your frosted glass sconces.

Anybody else?

Thank you for your help.
