Origins of the tin star??

joyce58September 30, 2007

Does anyone know the origins of the primitive tin stars that are so poplular now as indoor and outdoor home decor?

I sell alot of them (decorated) at craft shows and would love to know their origin in the New England area...All I can find on-line is the lone star of Texas.

Thanks,

Joyce
