I have been trying to make a functional, practical spinning copper water sprinkler for years with only moderate success. Does any one know how?
Post your msg on the Garden Junk forum and you might get some suggestions over there. The members there are very good at coming up with ideas for homemade devices. Or, just type in "make spinning copper water sprinklers" in your web browser line and you should get several sites to check out. There is also a website called "about.com" that you might find directions in there also.
This book has four pages of detailed instructions for building a copper yard sprinkler. I have made 5 already and everyone wants one. The book is: Building Garden Ornaments: 24 Do-It-Yourself Projefcts to Accent Any Setting (Black & Decker Outdoor Home) (Paperback) I boaught it on Amazon for $3.67 used work every penny. Good luck.
