Flowers preserved in glycerine?

joyce58May 21, 2008

Does anyone have an on-line source for purchasing flowers preserved with glycerine? I am especially looking for Candy Tuft which I used to get in Michaels Crafts but they never seem to get it in anymore.

I would also consider another similar looking flower but would have to be glycerine preserved for flexibility.

I've never heard of this type of flower preservation and just typed "flowers preserved in glycerine" in the web browser line and several sites will came up. Too many to post here, but you might want to do that and check the sites out.

I haven't been here for awhile but, I've preserved lots of foliage with glycerine. However, I've never tried preserving any flowers except Baby's Breath. Good Luck....hope you find some help.
