Birds and Inspiration Verses Afghan Feb - April 2002

jackiea0818April 27, 2010

I have the "The Cross Stitcher" magazine series from February, April, June 2002. The series that I am most interested in starting is the Birds and Inspirational Verses Afghan. I have all the floss that I think I'll need ... I can not find the afghan that is used. This is the instructions give this information:

"These colorful birds and inspirational verses are stitched on Wichelt's cream Song Bird afghan. This afghan is 18-count with woven birds, hearts, and a delicate braiding border. There are 12 squares in an afghan cut with each square having a 9" working space."

"Project shown" 18-count cream Song Bird afghan by Wichelt Imports - available from X-Stitch Enterprises."

X-Stitch Enterprises in Round Rock Texas appears to have gone out of business.

Does anyone know where I might find this afghan or something close to this. I just need something with 12 squares in either 18 or 14 count...

Thanks for any assistance that might be coming...

If you Google cross stitch afghan fabric, a number of retailers come up.
