qumumFebruary 13, 2011

Discovered today a big crossstitched picture (san antonio riverwalk) I had on wall.............with the big snow melting water is getting in somewhere and got into the picture and now I have a water stain on it. what is the best way to get this out without hurting the picture. going to start to take it out of the frame. Hope someone has an answer.

It will probably depend on what stained it. Was it the backing or the matting. You might have to take it to a dry cleaners to have the stain removed. Do NOT let them press it when it's done. You'll lose the "loft".
