Need a wall oven BEFORE I redo the kitchen!

Would love some feedback on wall ovens and MW's with features mentioned below. This is my wonderful 20 year old kitchen that I have loved but things are starting to need replacing. Some looks are tired, and a few things are starting to go out like the wall oven. It was a great looking GE but a horrible appliance . . . everything started breaking including the door, and now I need to finally bite the bullet and replace it. The problem is that I want to redo everything at some point and am slowly replacing with stainless. I have been so pleased with my white Sharp microwave above (used every day and still going strong!) After tearing out my hair studying all the oven combos, I decided to do separate units like I have now, or just replace the oven and do the MW when it goes. We love the drop down door on the MW, and the only ones similar are the Jenn-Air, Kitchen Aid and Electrolux, There may be some others, but after picking out several matching ovens, I am having misgivings about all. I love the new Thermador Pro but don't like the MW, and the JA and KA seem to have squatty looking MW's that are going to be set low in my corner column stack without tearing up the doors above. I don't need a fancy oven, but would like convection and some of the other new features unavailable 20 years ago! I also am really wed to the drop down door feature. My DH refuses to get a drawer MW, and we have an old Thermador warming drawer working fine now. Thanks for any suggestions . . . or may be doing the turkey on the grill again!

This one is really amazing trick to organize all utensils over a same place in the kitchen. Hope i'll bought this appliance as soon as possible.

For the microwave, I'd get a GE Advantium, which has a drop-down door and is 30"w to match the oven below (I'd bet the wall cutout opening could be widened easily to the same width as the oven cutout below). These also can be used as a second regular oven, a warming drawer, or a high-speed cooker that can make crispy, textured food that doesn't taste like it came from a microwave even though it's almost as fast. There are 240 volt/30 amp versions that do the last function particularly well, as well as 120 volt/15/amp models that will allow you to use the existing electric connection the microwave you have now is using. The 120v model is available in a 27" wide version too; the insides are the same dimensions.

Ikea sells a less expensive version of the Kitchenaid/Jenn-Air you saw. It's just a plain microwave, no convection or browning element, but it's the same basic design, especially on the inside, and alot less expensive. These are 24" wide but are shipped with two 3" wide filler panels for the left and right sides so they can 27" or 30" openings. All three are made by Whirlpool.

I'd go with Electrolux for the oven - the Icon if you can afford it but the standard ones are nice too. The GE that has separate upper and lower ovens in a same space as a single oven is intriguing too - I like how easy it is to reach items in the small top oven without having to open a big door, and the controls are cleverly on the door itself which allows the inside oven cavity to go right up to the top, without the usual fixed control panel taking up the top 8" of the oven. You may get a good deal on these now because the current model is being discontinued.
