I love pedestal cake plates. My mom gave me this one probably 18 years ago! It doubles as a punch bowl, though I have never used it as such. (Has a glass dome, you invert the pedestal and put the dome upside down into the pedestal base.) If I had storage room, I would have a dozen pedestal cake plates. As it is, I only have this one. ~ Suzie
