Cooktop-to-burner box adhesive?

milano88November 12, 2012

Hello all,

I needed to loosen and adjust my KitchenAid cooktop today. In order to do it, I had to remove the ceramic top. It would appear that it is attached with some kind of caulk (no screws). Can I just use regular silicone caulking, or is something special required?

TIA,

Joel
