Citrus Juicer

socksDecember 2, 2005

My Oster citrus juicer gave up this week. I replaced it with a Cuisinart which made a screeching noise, so I returned it.

Can anyone suggest a brand and model of citrus juicer you like? I do like Oster but am not sure what model to get. Of course, I'm open to other brands too.

Thanks for any help.

I have a glass reamer I absolutely love. Got it on E-bay and threw out two electric juicers I already owned. It is the best!

I just bought a citrus juicer. I got a Waring and it is very quiet, feels well built and powerful. Did you read the reviews at Amazon? They cover the field pretty well.

Thanks, Mary. I did read quite a few reviews online last night. I just want a good strong motor, and mostly the size of the motor is not part of the information provided if I order online. Where did you get the Waring?

I bought the Waring, Model PCJ2xx, refurbished, on Ebay for $60. It has 250 watts. I've used it quite a few times now and no matter how hard I push down on the oranges, the motor doesn't slow down.
