Retinning copper pans

patrushka_maNovember 20, 2005

I would love to re-line my copper pots and pans with tin because it is such a great heat conductor. Rather than send them someplace (they weigh a ton), does anyone know a pot retinner in Massachusetts? Thank you.

Ask some cookware shops that sell tinned copper, and look in the yellow pages under metal repair or cookware

Here is a place that gives info on copper pans and tinning, as well as a rough estimate as to how much it costs to re-tin your pan:

Check out these guys too: www.eastcoasttinning.com. In Rhode Island but close to Massachusetts.
