Seasoning Old Calphalon Pots

I inherited an older set of Calphalon pots and pans. I was told they were never "seasoned" and I would did to do so. I have no idea what this means please explain!

Don't worry, you don't "season" anodized aluminum, which of course is what Calphalon is...
