Kitchenaid 48" dual fuel range review

AFfamily12November 13, 2013

This appliance shopping is going to make me crazy! I have a very large family and we are remodeling our kitchen. We are replacing our 2-burner cooktop with a 44-48" dual fuel range. The thing that is making me crazy is the decision on the range. (we are also getting a range hood, dishwasher and microwave) We have narrowed it down to the 48" Kitchenaid dual fuel and the Aga 44" legacy. I have experience with the Aga but not Kitchenaid.

I am looking for anyone who has or has had a 48" Kitchenaid dual fuel range and is willing to share their experience.

Did you like it, not like it? Why?
Reliable?
Any problems?

The home we are in now has a Kitchenaid 8 burner dual fuel. The hood is a ventahood. Ours is a 2006 model and hasn't missed a beat. It is easy to clean and the grates are smooth to push pots around. The ovens keep the right temperature as far as I can tell. No regrets. It looks as nice now as it did 8 years ago.

Good luck
